Foundation

Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30pm - 7:30pm

This group aims to introduce more exposure to a range of track and field events such as long jump, javelin, hurdles etc, without requiring the athletes to specialise in any specific area.

Running Events

Foundation group starts to introduce more specific coaching in running technique, for example sprint starts, while allowing athletes to continue to to practice running over various distances.

Moving on from just long jump, Foundation group introduces athletes to other jumping events such as high jump and triple jump.

Throwing Events

Whether it is shot put, discus, javelin or even hammer throw, athletes can try their hand at all of these throwing events using age-appropriate equipment and overseen by expert coaches.
